Q. Ok, tell me one more time what MacTVision is?
A. MacTVision is a premium video stream bookmarking service which we spend all day (and most of the night) finding the best the Internet has to offer and compile it in one easy to use interface that brings everything to you – instead of you having to search for it.
Q. I am getting a “NillObjectException” error when trying to launch?
A. Make sure you are using an Admin account with full rights to launch the program for the first time. After that, you can run normally in a Standard or Limited Account. The “NillObjectException” is connected to a rights issue for accounts, and the above action resolves the issue 99% of the time.
Q. Can I add my own channels if I don’t see them currently offered?
A. Yes! You can easily add video streams you come across that we can’t or don’t offer currently. Just use the “Add Content” button on the top menu bar inside MacTVision. You can also use the same function to suggest new channels for us to add!
Q. Do you recommend a VPN service if I experience any stream blockage?

Q. I am running MacTVision, but some of the content is blocked for my area?
A. We only pass along third party video streams. If you can not access the content now from a particular video service, you will not be able to access it with MacTVision. Most users report using VPN with high success. Details are also in the settings tab for additional information.
Q. How do you offer so many services without charging a subscription fee or higher price?
A. Simple, we connect with third-party providers and integrate their service in ours. Our concept with MacTVision has been to bring all video content under one roof with our platform, versus someone having to go and bookmark and search thousands of websites. In fact, we now work with over 13,000 different video stream providers to provide the best experience for our customers.
Q. Do I really get lifetime product updates?
A. Yes, once you purchase MacTVision, you are a customer for life – with channel updates, product patches, and software upgrades delivered straight through your software using the simple “Update” button located inside.
Q. MacTVision seems sluggish at times, what is causing this?
A. It could be several things:
1. The most common cause is bandwidth use from your ISP (Internet Service Provider). This can fluctuate depending on peak use times throughout the day based on your location. As video use grows, ISPs should improve bandwidth.
2. A software patch could have been installed from Apple Software Updates, Adobe Flash, or the Flip 4 Mac plugin that we have not sent a fix for through MacTVision. Hotfixes (patches) are sent from MacTVison headquarters strait to your MacTVision software once we identify an issue.
3. Make sure you are running the latest version of the following software, click the name to get the newest:
Q. I am having trouble installing MacTVision, receiving an error, or getting it to launch?
A. Make sure you have the latest updates listed above and do a Permission Repair in Disk Utility.
